Objective

Designing Smoke ventilation system for Hydro Power Plant is complex and demanding, Hence CFD Analysis was used as a tool to study the effectiveness of the Smoke ventilation system under multiple worst case scenarios, The objective of this analysis is to provide adequate ventilation to the subterranean main turbine chamber which has 10 levels and each level has its own ducting system.

Conclusion

We have successfully identified the vulnerable areas in the system and optimized the effectiveness of the ventilation system.
